šļø Appearance
Light amber, high clarity.
š Nose
Green apple. A little sour. Slight caramel. Getting darker notes the longer it rests, some slight tobacco coming in.
š Palate
Slight smokey quality, but not peat smoke. A little apple skin. Definitely not typical bourbon flavors. Is this a single malt? I don't think it's scotch, so maybe an American single malt.
š Finish
The apple skin notes linger for awhile.

I can see now that the apple notes I was getting can definitely be grape instead. I think the finish took over most of the bourbon notes, throwing me off. I think if I knew this was bourbon, I probably rate it a little lower.
