• Account information: your email address, name or username, and password (stored in hashed form). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and basic profile information (such as your email) from that provider.
• Profile information: details you add to your profile, such as a display name, bio, or avatar.
• Your content: reviews ("Tales"), tasting notes, ratings, photos, and the bottles and details you add to your collection ("Vault").
• Communications: information you provide when you contact support or participate in community features.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the Service, used to operate and improve it.
• Push notification tokens: if you enable notifications, a token that lets us deliver them.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Create and manage your account and authenticate you;
• Display your content and enable social and community features;
• Send you notifications and service-related communications;
• Protect the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

• Service providers: companies that host our infrastructure, store data and images, and deliver push notifications on our behalf, under obligations to protect your information.
• Sign-in providers: when you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we exchange information with them to authenticate you.
• Other users: content you choose to make public (such as Tales, ratings, and profile details) is visible to other users.
• Legal and safety: when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Sodam Labs.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

• Access and update: you can view and edit your account and profile information in the app.
• Deletion: you can delete your account, which removes your personal information as described above.
• Push notifications: you can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults of legal drinking age (at least 21 in the United States) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the legal drinking age. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
